Sue has worked in various roles in Local Government over the last 29 years. Initially she pursued a career in leisure, but then eventually found herself in a wider role encompassing community regeneration, communications and culture. Sue took up her current post of Chief Executive at Harborough District Council in July 2005.
Councillor Brian Connell
Cllr Brian Connell is Cabinet Member for Communities and Economic Development. He was first elected to the council in May 2002 and was re-elected in May 2006. His responsibilities include leading the council’s groundbreaking Family Recovery Programme (FRP) as well as directing the City Recovery Strategy, Westminster’s response to the economic downturn. Cllr Connell also provides political co-ordination between all Cabinet Members with responsibility for People Services.
